I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned this. Does $$$ play a factor into UCLA getting in on the bid.
Being that it is in Pauley. Home crowd and attandance have got to figure into the powers that be minds for "putting on a good show".
Certainly this is prevalent in college football and Basketball.
Maybe I'm wrong but it's a thought.

Maybe I'm wrong but it's a thought. They are hardly a great draw, no matter where they play, certainly not at home. But I expect that this will be a part of the discussion and consideration. When LBS played there in the finals against BYU, the only thing that saved the whole event was the fact that LBS, and BYU were there and they both(especially BYU) brought in lots and lots of fans. UCLA did a horribly %*$#ty job of running the event as evidenced by the longest and slowest snack bar lines that I have ever seen, and I can guarantee you that UCLA Officials, including the great Al Scates, were NO WHERE TO BE FOUND!
