I am going way way back in my memory of things, but does anyone know if a school must apply in writing for the At Large Bid? Seems to me when USC got the nod awhile back, there was some talk that other perhaps deserving teams had not applied... or is my memory failing totally?......distinctly possible....
And if if you do have to apply, is there a deadline earlier this week, or last week to apply?
And does anyone know the actual names of the folks who made this decision?

Bill Shumard (Long Beach State): bshumard@csulb.edu ---Shumard had to remove himself from the decsion---- Ron Shayka (George Mason): rshayka@gmu.edu Barbara Willis (Ohio State): willis.102@osu.edu Chris Schneider (NCAA Rep): cschneider@ncaa.org

I can see why GM and Ohio would want the weaker team.
