2 million people standing around wanting to be part of history is okay for one day. Now get back to work.
Oprah, Samuel L. Jackson, etc. and all the other high-profile people in attendance yesterday hugging/kissing/shmoozing with each other will eventually have their feel-good Obama buzz wear off. But then again, those people don't really work anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.
I think Obama has the right message. Yeah, feels good for now, but y'all need to stop rhapsodizing on how historic my inauguration was and stop putting roadblocks in my way to helping this country.
Me personally, I look forward to Obama's promise that he's gonna whup some Washington ass and bring all the dealings involved in running our country into the light of day. It's a pipe dream, but heck, I hope he does it.
