Strangely, this is starting to look like the old volleyballmag.com forum. Bunch of high school dorks all trying to tell each other how badly the other person sucks. LOL.

Out-played or out-coached?
From Sunday's Daily Breeze-
Loyola coach Michael Boehle contemplated a rotation adjustment before the match, but opted not to go with it in the first game. After Mira Costa dominated the opening game, leading it the entire way, Boehle made the switch and it paid off in the school's ninth CIF championship.
"We didn't stop Rawson," Boehle said. "We knew he would get his kills. "Let him get his kills and come out of the rotation."
The strategy worked, especially in the second game when Loyola senior Jake Rosetti served for 12 consecutive points. Rawson was on the bench watching his team fall apart.
Boehle said he remembered his team's 16 service errors in an earlier nonleague match against Mira Costa at Loyola Marymount. He opted to have his team skip the jump serve for float and regular serves. The plan to keep serves in play worked as Mira Costa's passing game disintegrated.
