online.wsj.com/article/SB124096471555766239.htmlreading these letters made me glad I am not in the hunt for college admission this year. I also woke up in a cold sweat after dreaming that my alma mater had rescinded my degree because I just did not turn out well enough.

Undergrad admission is probably a walk in the park compared to grad school admission right now. (Waiting out a bad economy by going to grad school is a traditional tactic.)

I still have nightmares about taking an exam I did not study for. Then I'd say to myself....wait, I've graduated. I don't need no stinkin' exams.

They told me based on my work experience, I shouldn't have applied to the business school. Never mind the fact that I was going for my MBA, but for the school to tell me I didn't belong was...ummmm...different.

Ok, so here's my question.
The schools are getting a record number applications. But then there are other articles out there saying that undergraduate admissions, especially at private schools, is down significantly this year.
So are less applicants just sending out more applications?
