Not a bad schedule. It is great to see UCLA back down in the Outrigger Tournament. I loved watching them play in the preseason. This schedule is also much more balanced than in years past. Hawaii doesn’t have to play the strongest teams at the end of the season. This year, the stronger teams are a bit more spread apart throughout the season.

The Canadian matches should be a good experience for the guys on the team because they get to go to another country. There have always been great Outrigger battles between Hawaii and UCLA. The crowd usually turns out for those matches. I am also glad that the strength of the schedule seems to have evened out. I'm looking forward to the UCLA and BYU series. Those will be exciting matches.

Ideally, it would have been better to have Pepperdine at the Outrigger tournament rather than UCLA since UCLA will be at UH in March.
Perhaps Pepperdine willl be in Canada at that time and couldn't make it.

I respectfully disagree. Pepperdine lost three starters, including the player of the year, Sean Rooney. I don't expect them to be the force they were in 2005--and they were most impressive!
