Obama translated into MUSLIM SPEAK.
I too have a dream.. To hold politicians to what they say they are and represent when we elect them.
OBAMA said he has experienced ISLAM on 3 Continent's before coming to where it was founded.. His FIRST Foreign SPEECH was on a MUSLIM SOIL... His first interview was to a MUSLIM
He said he was not a MUSLIM but told students today his job as President was to end the negativity stereotyping of Muslims everywhere.
If he ain't a MUSLIM he is very close.
I really don't care if he is..but he wouldn't have been elected if he came out before the election and said so.
I thought a president was to hold American interest and MAJORITY VALUES as A PRIORITY ..not give the minority a superior say..or importance.
His saying America is not a Judao Catholic based country anymore is just BAD ...as in previous statements.
HE SCARES ME MORE EVERY DAY.
you are not scared because you are sheep...young..foolish ..and nieve..Just as this YOUNG PRESIDENT WILL LEARN...
WHEN WE PAY THE PRICE FOR HIS STUPIDITY.

Well, you're wrong. How's that for an answer?
Bill, you need to find some courage. Obama isn't going to hurt you. Even if I'm just being nieve, whatever that is, I can assure you of that.
I can also assure you he said nothing about America not being a Judao Catholic based country anymore. One, we never were a Judao Catholic based country, whatever that is. Two, he probably meant Klingon Jedi based country.
You poor, poor man. Just imagine what will happen to you when the progressive income tax and the tax on wealth return.

A voice in the wasteland...

Ok... Mexicans and MUSLIMS fought and died in many wars to keep AMERICA STRONG..free and The white guys religions from EUROPE is bad.
It was the minorities that created wealth and the empire... white guys are only for funding the entitlements.
Whitey sucks...he is to be used as a tax base... his religion is bad...
His free markets are bad...
Everything he stands for is evil and bad..
Sounds like the comments used to enrage the effort to BLOW ISRAEL off the map.
Yep..and I am a raciest and a BIGOT..
there now we can all gather round that campfire and sing... "oh..Glory days ! ".. oops I mean

His FIRST Foreign SPEECH was on a MUSLIM SOIL... I know, those pesky things called "facts" again... 1) Canada is not a Muslim country 2) Mexico is not a Muslim country 3) The UK is not a Muslim country 4) France is not a Muslim country 5) Germany is not a Muslim country 6) The Czech Republic is not a Muslim country So, Turkey was stop #5 on his third foreign trip. It is a secular government but has a majority of Muslims, so I guess you might say that qualifies. The do not say they are a Muslim country, but what do they know. Anyway, this is his fourth foreign trip and it was not until at least stop #5 on this third trip (or Iraq at #6, or Egypt at #1 on his fourth trip) before he made a speech on Muslim soil...

Actually, Mexico was after the European/Turkey/Iraq trip and he also went to Trinidad and Tobago for "The Summit of The Americas" on the same trip as Mexico. So the order is (got to get the facts right )... - Canada
- UK
- Germany
- France
- Czech Republic
- Turkey
- Iraq
- Mexico
- Trinidad and Tobago
- Egypt

And this is actually what he swears to:
"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Not sure where the part about where "a president ... hold[ing] American interest and MAJORITY VALUES as A PRIORITY ..not giv[ing] the minority a superior say..or importance" went to. Must be in the Constitution somewhere.

WHEN WE PAY THE PRICE FOR HIS STUPIDITY. Luckily, Volley Talk is free. I'd hate to have to pay to read Bill's stupidity on display.

"... and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." So I was wrong - Bush didn't violate his oath of office! He just had very little ability, especially regarding the "protect the Constitution" stuff.

Bill,
You need to get hold of yourself -- stop getting so worked up over Obama's give-a-hug to our Muslim Friends tour. In the grand scheme of things, this is pretty small potatoes. We have plenty problems right here at home.
Remember the Studebaker, Packard, Hudson, Pierce-Arrow -- once proud names of the US auto industry. They were not too big to fail unlike General Motors. GM's end will be different in the new age of Obamanomics. Like AIG and Citigroup they will be kept alive in an industrial catatonic state. Hopefully the rest of the country doesn't follow suite. GM's bondholders didn't answer the bell, so Obama said, "I've got $30 Billion more for the new Government Motors." That is, he's got $30B of additional federal assistance to support GM restructuring.
Besides Obama Motors ($60B) -- "See the USA in an Obamalet" -- Obama has used his great an exciting personality to rollout spending and initiatives of a scale that makes our previous free spending President (G-Dub) look like a Scroogie tightwad. Let's see we have Obama-Care projected at $1.2T over 10 years, the stimulus package at $800B, and cap and trade that will siphon billions more from E-grid consumers (and who doesn't consume electricity).
Did I mention TARP, TALF, PIPP, and EESA. The Fed's balance sheet stands at a staggering $2T and growing. And then last week, the Treasury floated the possibility of a single financial regulator for the entire banking system. The Audacity of Hope -- no, how about just audacity period. This is Obama's idea of innovation. What can we expect when the team that he has assembled without exception come from a lifetime of politics, public administration and academia. Look at this list of "brilliant" people: Tim Geithner, Larry Summers, Peter Orszag, Lisa Jackson, Gary Locke, Ray LaHood, and Tom Vilsack.
I know many of you out there thought the above list of young, dynamic generation of public leaders would elevate the hip, cutting edge of the US economy. You know, nanotechnology, genomics, robotics, and medical device technology. Instead, we've got the Old Economy on dialysis. GM is restarting aging UAW factories to output "green" products on behalf of the adminstration's hybrid-car obsession.
Doesn't this seem out of sync with Obama's campaign. I thought Obama was going to support young guns with new ideas seeking risk capital for the next big thing. What I think we got instead is an Obama managing soft landings for mature industries and old unions in an American that appears to be somewhere in the Autumn of its life. It looks like Obama's America is too fat to fail.

TARP, to be fair, is not Obama's.
What was the alternative, re GM? At a point in our history when we are supposedly trying to move away from a dependence on foreign oil, is it really wise to move to a dependence on foreign automakers? How to we make the leap from oil to an alternative without the auto industry? Or are we ready to put all our eggs in the Ford basket?

Hmmm....I notice all you dillweeds like to gang up on Bill because he's an easy target. I also notice not a single one of you wants to take on hammer after he pretty much smacked your dumbasses square in the face with a cast iron skillet.
Oh, yeah, Obama's got the answers, doesn't he? Not.

Hmmm. I thought I was responding to him. I don't know if Obama is on the right track economically. Neither do you. Neither does hammer. He (hammer) makes valid points and he could very well be right. You want me to pretend like I know he is wrong?
Of course, with hammer it's a different animal. Probably because hammer states his opinion with intelligence and facts, and, most important, with civility, something Bill is incapable of doing?

At a point in our history when we are supposedly trying to move away from a dependence on foreign oil, is it really wise to move to a dependence on foreign automakers? Yes. Japanese product lines get better mileage and have more green technology options. Bailing out business failure only encourages lazy investing and further failure. These failed companies are like Terri Schiavo, and the Obushama economic policy is like Terri's parents. Capitalists (such as Ron Paul) are like Michael Schiavo, and the taxpayers are like all the hospitals, social workers, disability workers, physical therapists, doctors, surgeons, janitors, insurance companies, and federal/state disability fund budgets which had to spend years keeping alive a collection of cells which no longer had any medically viable personhood attached to it.
