OSU: Matthews, Greaves, and Dreven
Ball State: Carlson
Loyola: Grunst, Kozlarek
IPFW: Serdar, CJ Macias (via Findlay)
Lewis: Dayton (might be their only returning player)
that's about all I can think of now.

Why are players bailing from Lewis? How much longer are they on suspension from post season play or is that over?

I see. So we can hope to see a stronger team in a few years when all of those freshmen are a little older.

Actually I thought I heard someplace that Dayton was going to redshirt this year so he can finish his last year in a season where they have post season eligibility.
Sounds like a smart move to me although in the short term that leaves Lewis with 0 experience on the floor this coming year.

The Lewis roster only shows two freshmen setters. I'm sure they are still out of post-season play this year. Not sure about next.
14 freshmen of 18 total players on the roster. Two jrs and two so's. No seniors listed.

Yea i saw that to and i do not understand what they are doing or what happened to the juniors from last year, like Sisk, their libero, Middle Escalante and some others.

they do have lots of freshman but most of them are solid athletes with lots of vball knowledge. now lewis is pulling guys from florida and cali along with the top midwest players. it might take a few games to get them in the swing of things but when they do...everybody is in for a big surprise!

I agree with you on that one, they did get alot of great players from the midwest area. But what i would like to know is why did all the guys who were juniors last year leave for their senior yea. The only guy that came who played at all was Jared Dayton. If anybody knows what happened please let us know. Thanks

There is one more year of probation in terms of post season play. As for everything else like the school not allowing the recruiting of foreign athletes and lesser scholarships, I do not know when those are lifted. Jared is going to redshirt this season. Returning guys elsewise consist of a jr and two sophmores. Enrique played in the superior league, so he waived his rights to continue with vball but he is gonna play tennis at Lewis. (From experience, he kicked my butt a few times so I can vouch that he will tear it up on the cement) Brandon decided to just finish up with classes and not play ball. JJ graduated with me in May and is back home. He was a junior eligibility but senior academically. Dan is pretty excited about this year cause it will give a lot of guys some much needed experience, so take it easy on him. I think he put up with a lot of fun stuff last year. And you can't forget about Big Foot. He is the biggest assistant coach in college volleyball. I would also bet that he is the biggest compared to every other college sport too.
good luck to the flyers this year
