Going through my old LP's and found some 2112 and Caress of Steel....man those Canadians can still jam......would have been a cool concert to see in Rio! - Enjoy! ah the 70's
First video is YYZ live in Rio De Janero
Second video is old (70's) La Villa Strangiato with sick guitar solo (with smashed finger and all). Lifeson is "shredding" his guitar before shredding was supposedly invented.

eehh.....don't take this wrong.....Loverboy is a novelty.....I was kinda referring to the progressive musicianship of Lee,Lifeson and Peart. The guys thunder but the quality and tone is really unique and pure.
But ...yes I will sing a Loverboy song or two after 6-7 drinks in a crowded bar with everyone else and love it.
Please don't comeback with Mr.Mister or Europe.....ha ha

Rush isn't music it's noise like listening to jack hammers all day not one real musician in the group.

There are way too many bands still touring that shouldn't' be though. I was looking for a concert to go to this summer, and there were many bands that I wished stopped making music many years ago.
But I really would like to see Steely Dan this summer.

My wife detests Rush too......anyway it brought back memories.....and their sound was still impressive. They are pretty darn good musicians in my book.
As far as Steely Dan - Walter Becker and Donald Fagen are flat amazing .......but primarily a session/studio band not known for touring. It is amazing how many different musicians sat in with these guys.
Bodhisattva!!!!

Apparently on this tour they are re-visiting some of their old albums (back when they had albums) that they made when they were just a studio band. they are going to play complete selections now, since they never got a chance to tour with that music.
