So he predicted increased crime and tent cities, which are entirely possibly by next summer if unemployment continues to rise or if we get hit with a signicant earthquake or hurricane that shuts down groups of businesses for any period of time.
He predicted the fall of the American Hegemony. There are about 100 books on this form the turn of the century. Most anticipated China would take over but if you to talk to the people who decide what gets made where, they have pulled millions of jobs out of China and India and are sending them to Bangladesh, Lesotho and even less developed countries where they can get the production costs back down.
And he predicts that there will be jobs in alternative energy, and says that people should buy gold. Again, that has been the word for years now.
He may be dramatic about it, but he isn't really saying anything new, or even anything that is that far of a reach.

Agreed...nothing really new here...and the list of statements reads like that you can find on any book in the book store..they don't really mean too much.

Their's Good CHANGE or their's bad CHANGE , choose wisely! Nice attempt on trying to put a political spin on my statement. I made no comment on the validity of Obama's plans or ideas. My statement was, and is, that a list similar to the endorsements that you posted can be found on most any book in a book store, and they don't inherently lead any extra credence to the book. You can also find someone endorsing every comedy film that comes out as "the best comedy of the year", but it doesn't make it so. In fact...the longer the list...the more likely I am to question the book/movie/show, as if someone is trying to oversell it.
