Good grief! I will admit, I don't know much about the men's game and teams... I'm getting there though! Congrats WaveRider. Thanks VBCruisin, this is fun to lose at!

Hi IdahoBoy, No one loses, since these predictions are all in fun...you have the guts to predict a match outcome and have a 50/50 chance of being right. You are not up on the men's teams, but yet you chose 7 correct out of 10 matches (you failed to post your predictions on 3 matches) for a .700 rating. I wonder what you would have had IF you posted ALL the matches. Sorry I couldn't place you in 3rd for your 7 out of 10, since there were 13 matches. I bet you can do better this week. Imagine...a Top Prognosticator from Idaho, who would have THUNK it, Potato Boy (or Dan Qualye would say "Potatoe Boy.") I look forward to your picks for this week.

Waverider
From the old King to the New King...Congrats!
Crusin...Ya got me this week...Cant's believe SC is that bad...losing to an NAIA isn't very good at all. However, your Midwest Knowledge needs a little work, cuz I got you I believ 14-1 to 12-3...I'll let you guess which 3 you lost! ;D
I am still only averaging 2 losses a week...again not bad for a Midwest boy!!!
Good Luck all next week!

Wait Roofan, You went 14-1 and I went 12-3 on our EIVA & MIVA predictions? Since you live back there and are able to see these teams, I didn't do that bad (sight unseen). I thought Ohio State would be better and Rutgers. Sue me. Better yet...smell my tennis shoes. Want to bet on this week's EIVA & MIVA? Give me my choices.

How about a new little wrinkle into this game....I have a new idea for you. Assign a value each week to the place that each prognosticator achieves. At the end of the season you can have a Jimmy the Greek award for the top one. First place gets 10 points, second 8 points and so on down the line. A first place finish and a third place finish would yield 16 points. Two second place finishes would render the predictor 16 points as well.

Good idea Beachy...maybe as the big prize at the end of the season the winner gets a date with Beachy...and the loser gets vbcrusin. Actually, I am compiling everyone's record each week and will record all the top finishers at the end of the season. I'm going to give a few prizes out as awards (dating is NOT included). Thanks for the idea. We do need to crown the "King or Queen of Volleyball Prognostigators" for the 2003 season. The winner will have bragging rights until next year.

How could I be so stupid as to predict that USC would beat a powerhouse like Cal Baptist?

Hey All! Sorry it took me so long to reply (to accept my award)... I was out for the weekend! Anyways, I'm pretty stoked that I guessed that well... what can I say? I'll "guess" that my predictions for next week won't be as good... but I guess we'll wait and see. P.S. - someone keeps posting under my name... KNOCK IT OFF!!!!!... they're saying really stupid things!
Go WAVES!
