LOL, I was just thinking what would happen if a MPSF All-Star team played a MIVA or EIVA All-Star team...talk about a massacre.
Maybe a better idea would be a MPSF First All-Star team could play the National Team, and the MPSF Second team could play MIVA and EIVA All-Stars.

MPSF OH Costas (Hawaii) and Rooney (Pepp) RS Toppel (Stan) S Tamas (UOP) MB Keenan (Pepp) and Bocage (Stan) Lib Gawlik (UOP) MIVA OH Mayer (Lewis) and Ptak (IPFW) RS Barretto (Lewis) S Davis (Loyola) MB Schroeder (Loyola) and Denmark (BSU) Lib Stuntz (Lewis) EIVA Penn State's starters + Claney (Mason) don't know much about EIVA...=) tigfan I was thinking the exact same thing for the EIVA but without Claney. No offense to the other EIVA teams but Penn State is simply head and shoulders better than most of the players from the other teams. I dont know too much about the EIVA but Penn State probably has the best talent than most of the teams.

Whoever said that the MPSF would Spank any of the other all star teams is full of it, I agree that they have more talent, but the top players are top players....
Lets look at the MIVA.
Opp. Barreto (Lewis) 1st team all american Setter Davis (Loyola) 1st team all MIVA MB- Denmark (BSU) Honorable Mention All American VBMag MB- Barretto (Quincy) Honorable Mention All American OHs Mayer (Lewis) would start anywhere in the country OHs Ptak (IPFW) USA national Team
L- Stunts (Lewis) 1st team all american
So please dont even give me that the MPSF team should play the USA national team....
Thanks Midwest.

So you think Barretto matches up well with Keenan? Uh... ok.

No I don't
but keenan was POY, he is above everybody else. By no means i made that comparison, Barretto is above average but keenan is nowhere near average. I do think that Davis matches Tamas or whoever your pick for setter is, and i think that Fabiano Barreto is above Nargi and so on....
I think it would be a great matchup. the MPSF has the best middles keenan and Thomas, but MIVA has a great libero, the best opp in the country and 2 of the top outsides in the nation.
so don't look at 1 only player... look at the whole thing.

How about a Dream Team made up of Pepperdine and Hawaii (No. 1 and No. 2) players against the rest of the Country. VBCrusin and Bookum could coach the team, with our limited coaching background this team could still kick some "okole" (that's ASS in Hawaiian talk).
Outside Hitters: Costas - The Mad Greek Winters - The Quiet Asassin Rooney - Mister Money Middles: Keenan - "I love lickin my chops, before I roof your okole. Thomas - "It ain't No Big Thing, Dude"
Setter: Tuyay - "I love my Hair, I love my Hair . . . . .
Libero: Zmet - The passer in the Country.
Super subs. Ching, Mayer, Hein.
Super Odd Guy. Norberg - Who took my head band?

looking at your honor list, leader, its impressive. what you fail to realize is that everyone else on the all american teams were from the mpsf. and your setter is davis? please, he wasn't all american, mpsf has two or three setters that were.
