PRO's Finally play for real.
Post your favorite team and why they will win or lose? WHY?
Example ..VIKINGS
They used to lose the games like today at Cleveland..playing down... so I am nervous. The thing about Brett is that he hates to lose..and THAT will carry over into a 24-17 win ..with a special team play determining the outcome.

The Bills..
Will Lose. Reason? They aren't good and New England is.

Vikings gave you 10 pts..
Actually your team played well until they wore down...a rookie QB did better than expected...
Packers vs. THE Bears.
who wins..? all the experts now pick GB to win or play though to the big game.
I still think Chicago has a better defense. GB a better offense.
Home field determines the winner when these 2 teams meet.

Has any body noticed how disconnected the action seems to be?
The 1st half of the Gopher game..the vikings..and last nite the Bears GB..game.
Commercials..commercials... commercials...
ANY stoppage in play...another food or beer commercial.
Why have a color guy at all..the play by play guy talks about a play as it's being run and then it's time for a brealk...
It was PAIN FULL TO WATCH..very few if any replays...they avoided any controversial ref. calls...and there were plenty.
When the guys in the booth did talk about something it was usually about each other..not players or stats.
Thank God for the remote..the mute and TIGER WOODS.
When golf coverage has more non interrupted play and is better telecast...something is wrong.

That's one of the reasons why I've pretty much given up on football. It's one stoppage after another. There are also too many rules, too many penalties, too many reviews of stuff that should just be called as it happens. It's all about excess. Got a good thing? Let's keep making it better and better!
It's too bad, because it *can* be a great game.

Hey, no one wants to see a play whistled dead just because a serve ticked the net, right, FIVB? Well, if volleyball was as popular as football, (should happen any day now, because we have rally scoring) and made as much money, then volleyball would have just as many interuptions as football and the FIVB would think that this was just great.

I'm still into college football, which reminds me....
How's the weather in Minneapolis right now? I'd consider going there for this Saturday's game, but if I bring my wife I'd be afraid that I might lose her at the Mall of America.

This is the best time of the year for Minnesota weather. It's been warmer than usual the last few days, in the 80s, but we're usually looking at 70 or so.
Trees are still green. No snow.

I got curious and looked it up. It's hotter than here in Northern California. Probably too late for me to request visitors's section tickets.

I guess tickets are hard to come by -- capacity is only 50,000 or something like that.
