Is it really true Pedro Azenha, the super outside hitter for Hawaii, has asked for his release from Mike Wilton? I heard that it's because of his poor passing and back row play. True or false? Confirm or deny?
Whatever it is, is the grass really greener on the other side of the fence?
To quote Jerome Kern, songwriter extraordinaire -
"When your heart's on fire, you must realize, smoke gets in your eyes,..."
I admit, the song is about love, but still, in the abstract, it's applicable to Pedro and people like him in his position.

Frank Sinatra once sang:
"For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught. To say the things he truly feels; and not the words of one who kneels: The record shows I took the blows----- And did my Way! "
Best of luck to Pedro Azenha.

Tupac Shakur once wrote:
"Every other city I go and every other video no matter where I go I see the same ho!"
Just thought I would throw that in for food for thought.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that Pedro will be leaving UH next semester. He has had his mind set on that for quite a while.
I'm dissapointed to see Pedro leaving because not only is he an awesome volleyball player, but he is a such a cool guy to be around and hang out with.
Best of luck to Pedro wherever he ends up next year.

I'm watching the UH game, and they said Pedro is BACK! They said he reconsidered and was reinstated to the team. Welcome back, Pedro! We're gonna need you!

He wasn't suited up to play, but he was standing with the rest of the non-starting players. I am sure he is back with the team since not only was it announced, but, he did join the team on the court after the win.

Azenha's name is back on the roster on the UH's site, which wasn't there when the announcement was made of him leaving.
Glad he is back!

Glad to hear things worked out for him and Hawaii. Always good to have another weapon. I hope he learns a little impulse control in the future though. You can only pull a diva fit like this once.

It is a good sign to tough it out rather than leave. I think he will win over a lot of the fans with his diva fit. Everyone knows he is a junior superstar relegated to a substutue's role, at least this year. Much better to stick around than to go and pout. Zimet is a good expample of that. He has become a fan favorite.
