What 4 teams will not make the MPSF tournament?

I agree with you on the bottom 3 (USC,UCSB,UCSD), but I feel that UCLA will be out of the tournament. It has been an exciting (and at times unpredictable) season. I enjoy watching the matches, BUT I really enjoy everyone's comments, bantering and predictions on this site. It makes for a better understanding of ALL the teams, especially in the various analytic posts of the many knowledgeable fans. Everyone has their favorite teams, but it's nice to appreciate every volleyball team, in general...that's a mark of a great volleyball fan.

As far as I'm concerned, I'll be wearing my Pepperdine shirt together with my California/Hawaiian shirt, and BYU hat.

Has anyone noticed that there aren't the negative posts this year than last year? It's probably because of the many fan posts analyzing every team's play and not getting defensive on their own team's losses. It makes for good communication. I think next year, I'll start rooting for UC-San Diego. They are a scrappy & gutsy team who should be playing in lesser Division, but my hat is off to them because of their tenancity in wanting to play the BEST...win or lose, they are WINNERS in my estimation. GO UCSD.

Hey VBCrusin, got a question for you. I noticed that you put Pepperdine at the top, which is no surprise. ;D But you also list them with one more loss. Who do you think they will lose to?

Let me respond for crusin since we all know his second love is BYU and I'll bet he expects a split. Funny how every body talks about all the Hawaii players being older and they don't mention guys like Alleman at BYU that went on missions and are also older than most college players, I guess the difference is they aren't playing volleyball during their mission trips.

I do believe that BYU is good enough to split with Pepperdine...either way I win.

I graduated from the Y, but cheered for Pepperdine since my son was playing there. I still cheer for Pepperdine today, however since my son graduated, I will be cheering for BOTH Pepperdine & BYU when they play each other.

I will also cheer for Hawaii (my other favorite) unless they are playing against Pep & the Y.

I'll be either sitting with vbdad or Bookumdanoaloha...depending on what match I attend. Good luck to all...
