The No. 6 Matadors hosts USC tonight in less than an hour and then take on top-ranked Pepperdine on Friday night.
My gut feeling is that CSUN will win tonight against the Trojans in three games or if CSUN is caught sleeping it may go all the way to five games. Trojans leads this series 34-10, but the Matadors have won the past three matches.
Good luck CSUN.
GO MATADORS!!
(StanfordFan - maybe I'll see you tonight...if I can get away from work VBallMom - CSUN is lookin pretty good, I said lookin pretty good not great...they look and play so much better than the previous years under Coach Campbell)

USC defeats CSUN in four games. (25-30 CSUN game 3, 30-25 USC game 4) I only saw games three and four. CSUN look good in game 3 but in game 4 it was all SC. In game 4 SC could've won 29-20, but CSUN scored five straight points...way too late for a comeback. Bad passing and defense for the Matadors in that game(4th game) but fantastic hustle Nils Nielsen who dived for a shagged ball and crashed into the scorers table - it was a bit scary there when he didn't get up. Joe Nargi wasn't on his game and the entire CSUN team wasn't there on the floor tonight. I thought that after winning game 3 they would carry the momentum with them. SC players that I thought that stood out was Ian Gallagher and Joao Grangeiro...Joao plays with a lot of heart...love these two players attitude. Especially Ian who talked backed to the Matador fans - it was great. Great crowd, good number of SC fans, too bad CSUN lost. USC defeats two ranked two teams in a row. Not bad. Lotsa good luck on your next match CSUN. Next up is Pepperdine.

What's with USC? Everyone thought they would lose to Northridge and Lewis...seems like they are really starting to play. Good for them, BAD for our prediction contest. Congrats to USC. I'll have to re-think my choices next week, and not discount USC. Later. Oh...by the way, Lewis beats UCLA in 5.
