30-21, 30-25, 30-27
Seemed like Weber led for UCI and Proper for PSU. Batt;e of the opposites!
Seems to me like UCI should set Jablonsky a lot more.

1hr-18min to lose in 3. The PSU warmup was longer!
Once again Meerstein failed to open his eyes to block. 3 assist blocks in three games is a joke. Never fear tho....Meerstein will show when you least expect it...or need it. (Gotta pad those stats against 6ft Middles from some EIVA team you never heard of.)
The UCI Middles exploited PSU while the PSU middles caught up on their sleep. UCI hit .511 as a team. Oh...PSU libero had 2 digs---I wonder if that is a record? Kudos to the UCI coaching staff...they had PSU well scouted and a great gameplan.

UCI looked great, PSU potential. The biggest difference was the 28 digs of UCI over 10 of PSU. I bet PSU would rather beat UCI in May anyway.

Didn't UCI play Penn State earlier in the fall season ? Don't give Penn State to many props !! I'll bet UCI never scouted a game , but I'm sure the teams exchanged videos . UCI is a quality team this year . Their big test will be this weekend , BYU on Friday and Saturday !!
ALL YOU UCI FANS BETTER SHOW UP !!!
THE MORMONS WILL FILL THAT PLACE UP!!!

Here is Penn State's REAL CHANCE to prove they deserve the ranking they have. If they beat USC, I'll give them a little credit and won't biatch about their current ranking. However, IF USC BEATS PENN STATE, THEN SC SURE AS HELL BETTER GET RANKED ABOVE PENN STATE AND EVERY MIVA TEAM ON THE POLL. Don't get me started!

I always agree with BS content...
PSU is not interested in tonights game. So PSU will win. There is no chance PSU will play USC in the postseason so with nothing on the line PSU will win easily. Specifically, Meerstein won't choke--the libero will actually handle more than 2 balls--Proper will continue to receive sets in his limited hitting window--the freshmen will play steady--setting will not be a problem and Gutor will inroad toward getting more PT. As the season progresses Gutor hits harder and harder, eventually ending up around 80MPH.
PSU, other than the big game choking problem, has only one major anti-Gestalt fault. The whole team is achieving LESS THAN the sum of its parts.
