Too bad for Loyola. That would have been a dream upset.

Loyola has great defense, or it's not so close. Really good libero, and very scrappy team all around. They brought back a bunch of balls going out of bounds, including one with a foot save. Solid hitters too. Bruins played pretty bad in the first half of the first game, then rallied back in the second half but fell short, but took that momentum into the 2nd game where they looked far better and got back on track. Loyola's a pretty good team.

I would agree with that statement "Mac" Very down year for UCLA. Yes, they did get a win over BYU, so obviously they are capable of playing with the best, but they certainly are NOT the best this year in the MPSF. Lets all remember that USC beat them already this year. This supports my contention that USC should be ranked above Loyola. Loyola will go home from the West coast with a possible win over NAIA Cal Baptist. Thats about it. What other significant teams have they beat? If there was ever going to be a year that Loyola could have gotten a big upset over UCLA it would have been this year, but they didn't get it DONE! A loss is a loss, in 3 games, 4 games or 5 games. Loyola is ranked too high in the poll anyway.

Hey "doody", hopefully everyone sees why there should be 4 TEAMS from the West coast in the Final Four some years. Every once in a while Penn State pulls out a decent team, and although they have to beat NOBODY to get there, they may deserve to be there. Then there was that one year that Ohio State actually made it to the finals and got TROUNCED by UCLA in the finals, so I guess you could say they deserved to be there, and then there was Lewis coming in and winning it all, so obviously they deserved to be there, but most years there should be 4 MPSF teams in the Final Four. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE YEARS!!

LEWIS DID NOT DESERVE TO BE THERE !!! THEY WERE ILLEGAL !! SAME AS HAWAII THE YEAR BEFORE !! OHIO STATE DID BEAT PEPPERDINE AND MAKE IT TO THE FINALS !! ANYONE (THAT ) YEAR WOULD HAVE LOST TO UCLA IN THE FINALS !!!

Hey "cocka DOODY" TAKE A CHILL PILL you psycho. Hawaii and Lewis BOTH deserved to be there. Hawaii and Lewis were both just as "LEGAL" as BYU the last 5 years. BYU just happens to have a much better and more creative compliance department. Lewis beat BYU in the finals. Argue all you want that Lewis had an illegal player or 2 on their roster that year. BYU HAD PROBABLY 3 ILLEGAL PLAYERS on their roster that year, and EVERYONE knows it. For one brief moment I thought we were actually going to agree on something, but you went off the deep end there. You must be a woman.

Yes Hawaii and Lewis deserved to be in the finals because they beat everyone to get there. When will everyone stop crying about BYU's compliance department. Every year they are turned into the NCAA for different accusations and not one has ever been legit. I can list them if you want but there is no reason. So these accusations are turned over to the NCAA and are out of BYU's hands. Don't you think if BYU was ALWAYS cheating they would be done by now. 3 illegal players is pretty funny. Quit whining...
