If Hawaii can beat the Bruins on Friday night, I gurantee you there will be a big crowd for Saturday's match, and if the Warriors can make it a series sweep over UCLA, and win ever game until BYU, the BYU series will have an even bigger crowd(esp. if it's for the MPSF title)...

That will be a huge match. I wish I could be there for that one. With Pepp's loss to LBSU, Hawaii has a chance to host.

How is it a small chance? Pepperdine has a small chance and needs to worry about UCI, BYU, and Hawaii losing matches to host. BYU and UCI have 2 loses each but face each other this weekend. A split means both will have 3 loses which makes them equal Hawaii's loses, assuming Hawaii can beat UCLA twice. BYU winning both still allows Hawaii control as they will host BYU at the end of the season. UCI winning both matches can make them host the MPSF tournament as the only tests will be Long Beach and Pepperdine, and possibly CSUN and UCSB. There is a lot still up in the air but this weekend should clear it up. Personally, I would love to see a Final Four of Hawaii, BYU, Penn State, and Loyola. It would be the first time in history that a California school was not in the Final Four.

WoW... just looked at those average attendances.... 3600 vs 3800... i havent ever heard of that many fans going out and supporting a volley match in california (with exception of the tournament). Im curious to see if the UCI vs BYU matches might bring out some people from around the LA basin. if somebody finds out tomorrow night... post it up!
