Though UCI lost to UCLA tonight. I'd like to give a big contrats to Jarret Jensen, UCI's stallworth senior who's patiently watching most of the year go by on the bench. He had game high 20 kills tonight, and we all know that he can deal the rock like anyone, and as a senior who has lived through all the crappy years at UCI, he is the perfect example of a loyal team player who stayed with the program through thick and thin, to his senior year, and deserves more playing time.
Way to go Jarret. You are a great exmple of a true competitor.

How sweet....Thanks for the message Mr. and Mrs. Jensen Well that part sounds pretty condescending. I make an upbeat statement that doesn't invite sarcasm and somehow you attribute the parents for something a fan of the program wants to say. If you didn't intend sarcasm then I'll appologize. But usually when a positive post about someone is made and someone with an axe to grind wants to attribute it to parents then its innaprpropriate, especially in this case. I don't know how anyone can assume it's a parental comment anyway. I just know through observation what he's gone through this season, and the past 3. He gets his opportunity in a big match and makes the most of it. He's the kind of player I'd have on my team any day. |
