** The AVCA does not recognize any rankings below 15 in the poll as it is not possible when voters only select the top 15 teams and only teams with two or more votes are listed. It would be accurate and logical to say "listed" instead of "ranked" in the poll for spots below 15.

I wonder if Mike Wilton voted Hawaii #1. ;D Nice grin...I know you aren't serious. Of course, Mike would never vote his team #1, unless it was at the end of the season.

I wonder if Mike Wilton voted Hawaii #1. ;D Speraw is a voting member so I assume he voted Hawaii #1. Why would he only now start voting Hawaii #1?

my best guess is the loyola coach gave hawaii the number one vote. loyola has played both uci and hawaii, playing hawaii twice. no arguments form this uci fan if the loyola coach decided hawaii is a better team.
also, uci and hawaii both split with pepperdine. however, hawaii thumped pepperdine in a 3-0 sweep while uci fought a mighty battle to beat pepperdine this past weekend.
i can care less who gets what votes and who is number one. i just hope uci keeps winning so we can host the mpsf tournament.
