There will be a match up on the mens' side that was going to be the finals of the Ft. Lauderdale AVP. Phil/Todd vs. Matt/Nick. if you go to the fivb.org site, they have live scoring. They also put time of matches there.

Very cool... thanks! 21 22-Apr 15:00 5 Rogers-Dalhausser USA [3] Fuerbringer-Lucena USA [14] In other news, Misty and Nicole lost their first match today in 3. I was wondering if they would have a tough time against the German team they were playing, because that team has really dominated so far this tourney. Ivy/Fendrick finished 17th. Kessy/Ross have to play Hanson/Rutledge, and at worst either would finish 7th. There will be a match up on the mens' side that was going to be the finals of the Ft. Lauderdale AVP. The German pair that beat May/Branagh today also beat the #1 seed. They appear to be the team to beat this time. Kessey/Ross beat Hanson/Rutledge handily in two.

I think this tournament clearly shows the American teams aren't in form yet. (I thought the play in Florida was a little sloppy, but put that mostly on the wind) The Brasillian tour has been going for a few months, and they seam to be playing better(on the men's side).
On the Women's I wonder if Misty was fatigued at all? They Just played a full weekend in Florida, and to begin again on Wednesday is tough after a long layoff due to injury.

Hanson/Rutledge finish 5th. Not a bad showing for them! Kessy/Ross are in the semis. Good point about fatigue/Misty.
I see Furby is out, and that the Rogers/Dalhausser team lost their first today. So the remaining 3 teams have to win out, having their uno loss already. I'm rooting for Casey Jennings, my favorite player to watch.

Kessy/Ross will be playing for 3rd place tomorrow. Roger/Dalhausser beat Rosenthal/Gibb to move on, and Jennings and partner lost too for a 9th place finish.

What happened with Misty/Nicole with their 3rd game? 15-2 I think it was?
