He had some sick numbers against BSU....21 kills on .731 hitting. I'd say thats a good week for anyone.

Yea it pretty much a slugfest for Grunst. He should have got set more because Bsu's middles were doing nothing against him. As soon as i saw those numbers after the game i knew that he was going ot be player of the week.

It's not TOO hard to put up above average numbers against a team that isn't even ranked in the TOP 15. Come on!! I can't believe they gave this guy NATIONAL POW when all they did was beat Ball State! So if UC Irvine plays Santa Cruz and someone has some "SICK" stats, then I guess that person should get National POW. No way! You pick the National POW from teams that have played TOP teams and the guy had great stats. This is ridiculous.

stick to entertaining posts, you whiny posts aren't that great.
also, ball state is way better than santa cruz. he deserved it with those numbers, and ball states middles are no pushovers either. It's just one week, sorry there weren't any "marquee" games you could argue for.
