I would take a shot at MSJ if they were actually going to field a program. Only one of last year's players graduated. It takes time to bring in personnel. However, I see only 8 games on their schedule and they are mostly away at tournaments. I do not see any home games scheduled.

My understanding is that MSJ has canceled this season because they only have 4 players. They are hiring someone to recruit a team and restart the program next year. Apparently they believe they can be good at men's volleyball, and that the last coach was just a bad fit.

MSJ There is plenty of blame to go around from a lot of folks at MSJ the least of which was the last coach. He was handed a hot potato and did what he could. The admin want to keep the program going, but after cancelling a season it will take a lot of energy and hard work.

Any more news on the MSJ program and job? I feel like Ohio is such an important part to growing the game in the US, and it was disappointing to see the program disbanded. I hope the University reconsiders, if they haven't already.

MSJ is NOT disbanding the program. They are doing campus interviews this week. Try to find the right person to pick up the pieces that the last coach left behind.

Just heard that the Head Coach for both the Men's and Women's coach at Lees McRae resigned yesterday. Effective immediately. No other details yet.

Interesting...no men's experience And your point is? There are plenty of men coaching women with no women's experience. Why is this any more interesting? At least he is a former HS player and played in college, even if it was only NIRSA. As you know, there are not a lot of men's jobs available. He sounds positive and energetic which is already better than the previous coach who didn't care about the men's program; which is why it's where it is now.

I think the story about vacancy at LMC is bogus.

"kerk", would like to know why that was posted that a coach quit when I saw him on sidelines at St Francis today?
