mb4life, check an earlier post regarding the 3 different people walking into a bar.. that should be enough info to help you figure it out. Not gonna out anyone if they are not comfortable with it. As for UOP, yes, Jonah did accept the Miami of OH job, but was called and offered the UOP asst position after Jeff Hall accepted to be an asst at UH. Tough call I am sure for him to withdraw after he accepted, but its a professional move, not a personal one. I am sure that the head coach can find a suitable candidate before too long. a patriot, a leopard, and a bible thumper walked into a huntington bar one night...Got it.

Any idea on the salary range for the Emmanuel job? Also, anyone hear about the Newbury job? They must be close to offering it to someone at this point.

Emmanuel job is somewhere between 7-8K (but probably negotiable based on experience). The Newbury position is taken off the Newbury Human Resources website, but is still on the athletics website. I know that the pay is the issue for some people that have interviewed, but someone will take on that opportunity for a full-time coaching gig. The person in the position would only make 31K. We shall see.

Juniata has offered to their first candidate, and he declined. Something about finances for him and his family. The offer then went to their second candidate, and apparently he accepted. A good choice for them, if it all goes through. Still waiting to finalize everything. Whats going on at BYU? Anyone? Bueller... Bueller...?

Seems that Newbury has a new Men's and Women's Coach - Chris Taylor.
Can't confirm this (other than a posting on the Women's Job Board), but seems to be a fit for the women's side. Not too sure about the men. Here's some information on him that I found on the web:
2009 - 2010: McNeese State assistant volleyball coach 2006 - 2009: Volunteer and Grad Assistant at University of Louisiana-Monroe where 2005 - 2006: Asst Coach at Western Carolina Says he was also an asst. coach at Manchester College and worked as a volunteer asst. at Western Michigan. He played club volleyball at Western Michigan. Also coached a little in high school.
I wish him good luck at Newbury.
