Do you guys know if they set up the tournament rankings to specifically spread the geographic regions? If everyone holds their position, the top eight would not meet until the quarterfinals, if I look at it right.
Would they potentially match up, for example: 1 Ariz-8 Md and 4 Lakeland-5 UCLA winners meet in semi's 2 MSU-7 Cal Poly and 3 Oshkosh-6 Illinois winners meet in semi's
So do they think that way? Upsets happen, of course. And I'll always acknowledge that other teams could lay claim to the top pools. But would they keep apart some of the regions so they don't meet until later?

Far as I have ever heard, (last 17 years)......they rank the club teams as best they can given the minimal amount of inter region play, and let the chips fall where they may.
Round of 16, Round of 8 etc., often have great matches.... Semis and Finals at times are not the strongest....
