Listened to a bit of the game. I know in game 2, Hawaii pulled 4 starters and had the reserves play. Hitting .500 with reserves and a different setter is very impressive. Good road swing for Hawaii. Only 4 more matches left, UCSD and BYU series.

Stanford is fading into bolivia. Toppel's gotta be turning in his grave.

So percentage wise, Hawaii is tied up with UCI. Go figure.

So next up for Hawaii is BYU. Officially it is actually UCSD, but I think it'll be more like a scrimmage rather than an actual match. No offense, but i'm sure Hawaii's second string can single handidly beat UCSD next weekend- esp. since they won 2 games in Palo Alto.
But BYU, all I can think of is Victor Batista and Ivan Perez. At least there's no Pessoa or Moreno!
Anyone know how good BYU Is this year in comparison with UCI/UCLA/HAWAII/etc.?

UCI and BYU are by themselves at the top of this years class. Hawaii is just a little bit behind.
Hawaii, with two games against BYU coming up, could change that.

at this point i think hawaii is better than byu -- perhaps even uci after playing both hawaii and byu would agree too
