With Oshkosh, Lakeland, and Marquette getting upset at MIVAs, who does everything think will take it to heart the most and bounce back this weekend? I would personally hate to play Oshkosh or Lakeland their first game back after this past weekend.

First match of the WVC tournament weekend doesn't matter that much. Oshkosh and Lakeland will probably be playing teams like Platteville and Stevens Point in their first match. Those DII WVC schools wouldn't stand a chance (this year) against any of the top 3-4 WVC teams anyway.

yeah, Oshkosh has it easy at this tourny. All they have to do is win one match to stay in first place. All Marquette and Lakeland have to do is win one also to keep Whitewater below them and it doesn't really matter how Lakeland and Marquette do in the tournament up until the playoffs because they will play eachother regardless. 2nd and 3rd will play eachother first round in the semis anyways.

So Oshkosh has their mojo back ...no surprise. I've tried to find out what happened with the east coast championship last weekend, but they don't good web sites out east. The best I could find was the Va Tech took second. But who won? Maryland? We'll figure it out when the rankings are issued later this week.
I sure hope they seed teams to set up some good matches on Saturday, if seedings hold.

The rankings are supposed to be finalized on the 11th as everyone is heading out to Salt Lake City. As of right now rumor has it that the top 10 teams are set and maybe one or two teams will slide, but for the most part its figured out. Also with how the WVC Conf. Tourney finished its a good possibility that it could be a WVC national title once again. But with upsets the past two weekends it will be an interesting end of the season because anything can happen in tourney play, no one is perfect and anyone can lose. Strong teams may play strong and dominate like they should or they just might fall to teams who want it more and have been underestimated.
