Guess the Pacific sports writer didn't have the heart to elaborate....
Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific men's volleyball team fell in their final home game of the 2006 season, 3-0, to the UCLA Bruins. The Tigers lost 31-29, 31-29 and 30-25 to fall to 7-19 on the season and 5-15 in the MPSF.

Senior Brian Adamson once again led the Tigers in kills with 17, the lone senior on the 2006 squad helped the Tigers to force the first game to extra points before the Tigers fell 31-29. In game two the Bruins battled back late in the game to take the set in extra points again 31-29. In the third game the Tigers stayed within striking distance as they had done throughout the night but couldn't string together enough points for the victory.

The Tigers are back in action next weekend, heading down to Southern California for meetings with Long Beach State and UC San Diego on Friday April 14th and Saturday, April 15.

Pacific is a tough place to recruit if you only have a certain number of scholarships. It's expensive and not the funnest place to be.
