Any thoughts on tonights match at BYU? Can UCI can pull this one off? If UCI loses both matches do they still have a chance at the playoffs?

Very important matches. BYU wins would help to secure a second seed in the tournament and hosting the first round (or maybe even the tournament with a few Pepperdine loses). UCI needs to win to host first round as well. Chances are they are a lock for making the MPSF tournament but they want a good seed.

Lock for the play-offs? ? i dont know about that. i think that UCI has fallen off the face of the earth from a number one seed to losing ever other week...Plus UCI has a very very difficult schedule still ahead of them...I could see them not making it to post season. Their game against stanford at the end of the season will be very big...in response to UCI hosting the playoffs...that won't happen...Looks like someone has stepped on the ant hill and they are attacking the anteaters here in the second half of the year as usual...and the anteaters are falling apart

What schedule are you looking at? They've got 8 games left. 2 are freebies, 2 others are fairly easy, and there's a decent chance of picking up one or two of the other 4.
CSUN and UOP both have a harder schedule coming up.

Have you been following the MPSF season this year? I'd like to hear your actual predictions for which of these matches will be freebies/fairly easy. Come on, put it out there.

Hey Irvine fans, is your team in some sort of "death spiral" right now?

USC and Santa Barbara are freebies. Pacific and CSUN shouldn't be too tough tough. Yeah yeah northridge's had some good games, but they're really not that good of a team, and not consistent and UCI splits with them pretty much every year. Irvine practically handed them that game.
Now what does CSUN have coming up?
1 freebie-San Diego 2 possibles-UCI and Long Beach. maybe throw ucla in there, but it's getting to the end of the season, so they're going to be playing better. I highly doubt ucla will lose that game. And northridge just lost to USC, and barely beat santa barbara, so they're not playing well right now.
UOP
2 freebies-USC and UCSD 2 possibles-long beach and uci. which are both away games. irvine beat them solidly before, and they struggled with long beach
really it all depends on how they play eachother, I think uci has the edge on both teams.

hEY EATER , YOU BETTER LOOK UP YOUR RESULTS FOR THE YEAR

LAST 9 GAMES
3-6
IRVINE IS DOING WHAT THEY DO EVERY YEAR ,JUST WITH A DIFFERENT COACH !!!!!!!!

And those losses were against Pepperdine, Stanford, UCLA, BYU, CSUN & Long Beach 2 they should've won, but the rest are good teams. What they do every year? I can recall two recent seasons of starting out unranked and ending up around 7th and in the playoffs after several late season wins against top teams.
