Hey VBMom
I'm coming up to watch the Beach vs. BYU game. Over the past 5 years I've gone up several times to watch "My Boy" David Lee. Not the same without Dave, Jeff and Scott on the floor.
Should be a good game. My money is on The Beach. Also, I'll try the Beach's Brew at the arena.

You will have to check with the NCAA.....the Pyramid has gone on the wagon due to their new regulations.

Is it an NCAA new thing about alchohol sales ? The last time I was at the Pyramid and the Bren center they both had beer sales . Is it just for the playoffs ? Or is this the new rule forever ?? I know at the USC games we went to last year it was only allowed outside of the Coliseum in special areas ( football games )

I know at the USC games we went to last year it was only allowed outside of the Coliseum in special areas ( football games ) At USC with recent huge crowds the management of the people was getting out of control. Arrests were way up and the LAPD asked the school for a ban of alcohol sales. It just means more people get tanked up before games instead of during them. Also coke sales are way up, people still bring in small bottles of liquor.

Does this guy elevate as much as Lewis' Drew Pickering, whom the commentators said, "supposedly" touches 11'2" ? A 5'11" guy touching over 11 feet is sick, that's over 40 inches of vertical.

I know at the USC games we went to last year it was only allowed outside of the Coliseum in special areas ( football games ) The NCAA never allows alcohol sales at their sponsored playoff games. I don't believe the MPSF has this restriction; in that case, beer will flow in Hawaii at the SSC on Saturday because VB fans (mostly) behave themselves.

Thanks MWfan I am strictly amateur in photography but I use a Nikon ND70. Since I am a newbie, I use the "action"setting but override the ISO to 1600. I do have a longer lense on the camera for the Pyramid shots. I may not have all the photog skills but I have a good trigger finger.
