Is there an All American banquet at the Final Four? If so do all the honorees attend? Would the NCAA pay for this?
Also the two teams that lose in the semis are they sent home the next day or do the stay for the finals as well?

As was mentioned before, the event isn't titled the Final Four, it's the national collegiate championship. There is a banquet Wednesday night for the four teams involved and it is also when the All-America selections are recognized and given their awards. As many of the honorees as possible attend and depending on which team they made, the AVCA would pay some of their expenses. It also depends on the school for the two teams that lose. Sometimes the school will pay for the teams to stay throughout the tournament, sometimes they won't.

So when the Final Four teams convine for the Final Four are there only four teams? Seems to me that to be fair and to ensure that the best final four are actually in the Final Four that it would take an 8-team tourney to determine it.

Good one dog. Maybe the Final Four + Four. I'll work up a logo for it when I get a chance. I can feel a change a comi'n.

They could call it the " GREAT EIGHT " or if a lot of MIVA or EIVA teams somehow get in the "NOT SO GREAT EIGHT "
