Oh, i was told by a reliable source that bylashov will end up at Stanford, so I assumed they were talking but I didn’t know she was a 23... I still think she’s likely to go there as everything I’ve heard from this person has ended up happening but who knows Seems like Mele to Stanford has a probable likelihood too How probable are you thinking lol? I have multiple close contacts to her and haven’t heard Stanford name any more than multiple other colleges. Stanford is almost always brought up when she is talked about but so are both LA schools and a few others

I have close contacts to her and yes I have heard Stanford, but have also heard maybe 4 other schools just as much, including both LA schools. I haven’t heard of any front runners yet, but she is a 2023 so that makes sense... I’m just wondering if you’ve heard from someone that she’s more likely to go to Stanford than the other schools I’ve heard mentioned

I doubt the Pac-12 as we have known it will ever return. Because all three West Coast state governments consider requiring uncompensated activity a form of "wage theft", they seem likely to certify player unions and to eliminate amateur status for all athletic activities above intermural club sports. Pointing at the value of a college education would be no more compelling to those governments than pointing at the value of minor league baseball player development. They have declared that minor-league baseball players are being exploited and they will declare that college athletes who are compensated with athletic scholarships (instead of cold, hard cash) are also being exploited... and that making athletes attend classes when they enrolled in college to play sports is exploitive too.

Ummm getting an athletic scholarship and having to attend classes is exploitation? What's the point of being in college and not going to classes? In that case, those who complain might as well go to Europe and play pro directly from HS, why bother going to college...

Interviewed Kevin Hambly yesterday and will either have a separate story on Stanford or will include it the NCAA story du jour, which changes by the hour.

Stanford Women's Volleyball Season Ticket holders, make sure you login into your account and reconcile your season ticket purchase. You have several options including donating the purchase price or applying the purchase price to 2021 and keeping your same seat(s).

Do we get zoom candids of Hambly in his pajamas? I doubt it. The last interview I saw he was out on his patio in his Stanford provided home near Stanford Avenue and he was caz, but not that casual.

In another release 800 exceptions will be on campus. But it didn’t mention how those 800 are determined
