I think people are sleeping a bit on Stanford’s chances to host a regional. IF they win out, which obviously means not only at GT but at home against Louisville, and IF Penn State loses to Nebraska, I think Stanford will have the stronger resume in terms of top 10/25/50 wins, as well as (I think) RPI. And think this would be true in a comparison against Creighton, as well.
But I’ve seen in other threads the idea that even in the above scenario, Stanford would be on the outside looking in, so maybe I’m missing something. Maybe it’s just my bias that I don’t think the Miami loss is bad enough that it would negate their otherwise stronger resume, but maybe others or, more importantly, the committee feel differently. Hmmm…

Im excited to see Joy Udoye develop as well.
Who will develop into Stanford's next Plummer or Kipp? Hickman, Demaria, Udoye, Harvey, Bly, or Kurt?
That is the problem. None of them really have the kind of height and athleticism that Plummer or Kipp or Fitz or Baird had. Maybe Hickman if I had to pick one of them.....

You are giving Fitz and Baird too much credit here. Love them and all, but they are not in the same level of conversation as Plummer and Kipp.

She wasn't the biggest offensive threat but she's want a slouch either. Baird, good player but she's not in the caliber of Plummer , Kipp and Fitz.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Joy Udoye comes out as the biggest catch on the 2026 class. She looks raw but crazy athletic. I’m happy that we are in the position to have Hickman and Andrew. Top 10/20 recruits in the country.
