IF Stanford were to win their remaining matches (including Louisville), would they have a chance at a top 4 spot, then host a regional? Or did the loss to Miami kill their chances? If they win out, I think Stanford has a good chance (60% ?) of getting a top-4 seed. If nothing else, it helps bring some geographic balance. The committee really doesn't take geography into account for the top 4 seeds, however.

Dunkle and Demaria are both listed as 6'3". They don't look the same height, in the pic.
Queen is listed as 6'1" and Sayer is listed at 6'2". Sayer appears to be more than 1 inch taller than queen, in the pic.

A great recruiting class. Fills in the losses of Miner, Oglivie and Francis nicely.
I would say number #3 next to Texas and Nebraska.
If you look at the article, Hambly has interesting thoughts about each player. I like it.

If I may be so bold to guess, looks like Parks, Etzler and Sayer are the top contenders for starting next year...!
what does that bring us to?
Outside: Elia Ipar/bly
Middle: andrews sayer
setter/oppo: parks yu? harvey?
lib: etzler
ds: cawa pringle

I’m not super familiar with rankings and stuff

Harvey has to be the starting Opp with her elevated hitting as of late. But will we 6-2?

Harvey has to be the starting Opp with her elevated hitting as of late. But will we 6-2? Harvey is alright imo, her serves significantly fell off since the start of the season and her blocks are just okay. Taylor on the other had has better serves and higher hitting efficiency! Link to team stats

Link to team stats you came to that conclusion from… one match where Yu played Opp? Whereas Harvey has played against all the top 10 opponents, sometimes being our only efficient hitter in those. Also I agree that Yu’s serves is lower error and consistently difficult, but Harvey’s serve is picking up again from the last two matches. Both are in the top 10 in aces/set in ACC play

Per the chalk talk last night and Hambly's discussion of the new recruits:
1) Etzler will be the new libero next year with Hambly ranking her as the #1 L recruit in the 2025 class 2) The slightly undersized Sayer is the likely replacement for Francis due to her fast arm swing and ability to be a high level slide hitter (IMO she will play somewhat like Carly Wopat) 3) Hambly did mention the possibility of running a 6-2 next year because of Logan Parks athleticism which he compared to Miner's (and I don't disagree)
If Stanford does run a 6-2 next year, then probably
Setters: Yu and Parks OH: Rubin and Blyashov OPP: Harvey and Kurt MH: Andrew and Sayer L: Etzler DS/Serving Specialists: Pringle, Cawa, Koko K

I like this line up. However, Harvey and Kurt need to up their blocking skills.
