Holly will now be able to go back to the original position she had in 2018 (Alade being the better blocker yet she could not run a slide at all). Gates' arrival changed all that.

I haven't been here for a while so not up to date on the thread discussion. Isn't Vicini in a boot and not practicing? I believe it is the same injury as what she got the freshman year medical redshirt for.
Interesting that a player, Campbell, can be a starter on a team that won two national championships and then have it questioned if she will be good enough to start this coming year. Not too many teams have that luxury.
I'm sure everyone is aware the team is practicing in San Diego because of the stringent Covid-19 restrictions imposed by Santa Clara County. The football team is starting up practice. They are taking a bus every morning to a high school in neighboring San Mateo County for practice. The level of positive tests is essentially the same in both counties. It points up the lack of uniformity in county to county Covid-19 protocol.

So Leilah Smith is on crutches... Anyone know what happened? I'm not in the know, but maybe re-tweaked her ankle?

Hopefully she and McKenna heal up before the season starts.

So Leilah Smith is on crutches... Anyone know what happened? L Smith recently had knee surgery and is on crutches from what I’ve heard. Oh, that sounds serious if there is anything to do with knees. Hope she recovers quickly.

Jenna Grey on this Podcast, excellent interview. Very nice interview. She has a good view and take on life. She mentioned how mean some of the volleytalk comments. But Jenna, there are those who love what you had done and never talked ill about you. Nevermind the keyboard bullies.

Not to worry tnp101 : Jenna herself, in a thread earlier this summer, stated that she'd read VT once... ever...and vowed to never do so again. A very cool sentiment, though!
