is there any proof Stanford even reached out to Glass? she doesn’t follow them, they don’t follow her, none of the stanford players follow her…

Taylor has made usa teams at levels glass is yet to reach ( and both have tried out). also Stanford may be looking for their next starter in the 2025 class if hambly sees yu as more of a backup. I don't think dunning recruited chang thinking she was going to start one day. most teams have a scholarship setter on the bench So your barometer here for Stanford level is whether or not the setter has made a USAV youth national team roster? no, what im saying is that hambly may be looking for someone above yu's level for the 2025 class. similar to how he recruited miner not far behind xu. I was posting out there evaluations from usa because I interpreted your post as not thinking yu was that good when she's one of the highest rated setters in her class from a plethora of college coaches who select these teams. glass has fantastic TikTok highlights, but ive seen her (and yu) play in person for a full match and glass, to me, was less impressive than what I anticipated from her highlights and the social media hype she got. to me, yu looked better

What I don't see is Stanford's next elite franchise setter.

I've chatted with someone who's daughter plays for the same club. They indicated Charlotte's interest was stronger than Kevin's.
Several in this thread made it clear, Kevin is interested in Parks.

Charlotte Glass to Duke. Good choice for her. Kind of shocked she didn’t end up in B1G or PAC

I wonder if vandy looked at glass at all, that could've been a great fit for her imo, I think Anders is building something special in Nashville

Softball just received a freshman transfer from Indiana. Is the process of getting transfers becoming easier? This freshman is an incredible player. Here are some of her stats:
She led the Big Ten in eight statistical categories — slugging percentage (.930), on-base percentage (.575), OPS (1.505), walks (45), hit by pitch (23), runs scored (68), RBI (68) and home runs (23).
I tried to locate her GPA and academic background but was unable to do so. I found it interesting because this transfer is rare for Olympic sports. From what I hear there is a battle going on among administrators whether to join the NIL/transfer rat race or take a completely different path regarding sports. Maybe they decided a few more athletic transfers is acceptable. I don't know.

heard Demaria is pretty much a lock, but we wouldn't get an official announcement of that until about a year from now right? or anyone from the 25 class for that matter I'm hearing the same thing. Palos Verdes High School with excellent grades. And yep it's about a year out to get an official announcement.

FWIW a poster on a Stanford sports message board who IMO seems to have inside info says Hambly is recruiting hard for Parks. In this video Parks says that her top three college choices are Kentucky, Louisville, and Nebraska. That might have changed with Hambly showing interest.
I also like Suli Davis and believe she has a high ceiling over time. I would be happy to see her commit to Stanford.

with Campbell Flynns commitment Nebraska has to be out of the running now.... I would LOVE for her to go to Louisville as they're still yet to get any top tier recruits since their breakout in 2021. Stanford, Louisville, and Kentucky are my 3 favorite teams so im happy with her ending up at any of them

I'm a little surprised Nebraska pulled the trigger so quickly on Ryan Hunter. She must have really wowed them at their camp. So Mullen would want to play OPP, not OH, correct? I haven't heard anything about whether Mullen is interested in Stanford or not.
In regard to the third assistant I feel Stanford WVB currently looks at this as a junior assistant position. That could change over time. I hope Seslar succeeds; she sure is young. Hambly will find useful tasks for her to do.
Thanks for the video Avid 2.0. I only watched a few minutes so far. While I watched Kurt played OH and was getting a ton of sets; don't know if her hitting percentage was any good. Kurt played OH when Stanford was on their European tour which surprised me because I thought she would be OPP for Stanford. We currently have more than enough OHs.

I haven't heard anything about whether Mullen is interested in Stanford or not. im not sure if Mullen is set on playing a specific pin but she's definitely capable of both. would be nice to have a true 6-ro oppo tho. huskerjen posted that she expects Mullen to go to Stanford, and she has a ton of insight and is almost always accurate so I trust her in knowing that at the very least Stanford is one of mullens final schools. I think Nebraska was worried that if they didn't offer hunter after camp she would take one of the multiple offers she already had. if that happened AND they ended up losing Mullen to Stanford or someone else, they'd be 'screwed'. obviously Nebraskas roster talent is insane and their never really screwed but you get what im trying to say
