As a true freshman Rubin hit 230 as an OH. This compares to other not tall enough true freshman OH like Kipp who hit 223 and Francis who hit 188. I interpreted their post as talking about a recruit, similar to oglivie who never played lib officially until she got to Stanford. she was always an OH for club, highshcool, and even USA teams. dont think this was directed at Rubin but maybe hammer can clear that up Maybe I interpreted it incorrectly..... If so, my comment obviously doesn't apply. |

Random side note. I noticed Madi Bugg and Ajanaku hanging out recently in an Instagram post
Glad to see both are still good friends. I wonder what Ajanaku is up to now a days. Bugg is still balling it out and will play for Imoco in Italy this season

If so, my comment obviously doesn't apply. Sorry, should have clarified — I was talking about a 2025 recruit, not a current team member. This individual would probably be around 5’10” and a decent club hitter but with exceptional floor D and passing skills. |

Belardi is the 2nd setter No decisions as of the scrimmage on redshirting Ipar has a good serve. All three pin hitters looked very good. Francis and Vicini looked great Recruiting complete for 2024 how was Harvey? i just saw that she was listed as Opposite on the roster |

I don’t see her coming in for Kipp There seems to be a lot more versatility between the newer pins (Harvey, Kurt & Julia). Mix and match  (The GoStanford website roster has Caitie Baird, Julia Blyashov, Ipar Kurt and Elia Rubin as OHs, with Kipp and Jordyn as RSs). Due to injuries during a season...which we all know too well...flexibility is key! |
