2026 recruits coming in already and Demaria still hasn’t announced yet 💀 Perhaps she didn’t get accepted or didn’t make grades this semester? I don’t know how Stanford applications work for athletes.

She has a 🌲 in her Instagram bio. Maybe she just is waiting until she’s officially signed to announce lol.

Says on her Insta she’s “verbally committed to the application process at Stanford.”Not sure how that works or why more recruits don’t post that, but there it is

Based on Cal's schedule, Stanford's conference home/away matches are: Home: NC St, Wake, Syracuse, BC, Clemson, Virginia, Virginia Tech Away: Pitt, FSU, Miami, SMU, UNC, Duke, Notre Dame Home/away: G.Tech, Louisville, Cal
That's a pretty tough ACC draw from my perspective. Home schedule only includes 2 NCAA tournament teams from last year (Louisville, G.Tech) with away games at Louisville, G. Tech, Pitt, SMU, FSU, Miami who were all tournament teams last year. Finishing in the conference top 3 will be an accomplishment, especially with adjusting to the new travel schedule/opponents. Louisville/Pitt are better on paper and G.Tech/SMU/Miami/FSU, even UNC, could all be very tough with some of the transfers coming in.
Also so far Kentucky is the only confirmed home non-conference game. Maybe I'm being pessimistic but with away matches against Nebraska, Wisconsin, Marquette, and Minnesota, I could this being a 10+ loss season...

We are adding in a hectic travel schedule on top of a tough schedule. We have always played a tough schedule in pre-season and intermittently throughout the season. We need some fresh perspective coupled with some fresh ideas to compete in our new environment. WE cannot show up with what everyone has seen before. The game has evolved and we need to evolve as well. We have the talent...we need creative solutions. All of the top teams are evolving and quickly. We need to evolve too. Saying you see a 10 plus loss season is lame. The team needs support...let's get behind them and be in the business of building, not projecting or tearing down. That's not fun.

Side note Softball star and POY Canady is transferring out from Stanford. Sad day:( Stanford athletics is going down you all We have been so lucky to not have any volley recruits leave Please don’t go to OU. Lord, hear my prayer. I’m mentally willing her to Texas. They could be a force with Canady in the circle.

In recent years we seem to play better and tougher on the road (see sweep against Texas and reverse sweep at Louisville last year, 3-1 wins at Minnesota/Nebraska in 2023, etc.) versus at home, losses to Florida, Nebraska, Texas. so i’m fine if it lights a fire under our team

Hearing good things about Andrews from my contacts in Anaheim. I don’t know what expectations I had before but, from I’m hearing she is very offensive MH that will be able to score , which is what we’ve been lacking in the middle. For those of you that have watched her , what are your thoughts?

For those of you that have watched her , what are your thoughts? Her 16-18 club teams didn’t play at the highest level. I’m not sure she will come in as ready as other top recruits with seasons of Open level experience, but maybe her NTDP experience has made up for some of that 👍🏻

Stanford 2024 preliminary schedule based upon other teams posted schedules: Sun, Sept 1: Stanford vs Minnesota (Milwaukee, WI) Mon, Sept 2: Stanford vs Wisconsin (Milwaukee, WI) Tue, Sept 17: Stanford @ Nebraska Sun, Sept 29: Stanford @ Louisville Fri, Oct 4: NC State @ Stanford Sun, Oct 6: Wake Forest @ Stanford Sun, Oct 20: Stanford @ Pitt Sat, Nov 30: Louisville @ Stanford Notes: Florida posted their schedule and Stanford isn't on it. Stanford usually plays Texas but I can't find any post confirming a 2024 match. I believe Stanford signed a four year contract to play Louisville and Kentucky every other year, but that was before Stanford joined the ACC. Since Stanford did not play Kentucky last year, then a Stanford vs KY match could still be a possibility. Also @ UCSB (9/10), @ Notre Dame (9/27), @ SMU (10/18), and @ Georgia Tech (11/26). Seems like Stanford is getting a pretty tough ACC draw with away games at Pitt, Georgia Tech, SMU, and home/away with Louisville. FSU/Miami were the other NCAA tournament teams last year from the ACC. Really curious to see who Stanford is playing at home in the non-conference. Schedule came out on 6/15 last year and I saw that season ticket renewals went on sale yesterday. Ok, Texas and KY posted their schedules and Stanford is scheduled to play them, so here's an update: Sun, Sept 1: Stanford vs Minnesota (Milwaukee, WI) Mon, Sept 2: Stanford vs Wisconsin (Milwaukee, WI) Tue, Sept 10: Stanford @ UCSB Sun, Sept 15: Texas @ Stanford Tue, Sept 17: Stanford @ Nebraska Sat, Sept 21: KY @ Stanford Fri, Sept 27: Stanford @ ND Sun, Sept 29: Stanford @ Louisville Fri, Oct 4: NC State @ Stanford Sun, Oct 6: Wake Forest @ Stanford Fri, Oct 18: Stanford @ SMU Sun, Oct 20: Stanford @ Pitt Tue, Nov 26: Stanford @ GT Sat, Nov 30: Louisville @ Stanford
