Three names that people who have some connection to what is going on keep mentioning are
1. Scott Swanson 2. Hugh McCutcheon 3. Christy Johnson-Lynch
No one I know, including people who have been contacted for evaluations of one or more of these, says they know for sure who is going to be named coach.

Kim Kardashian would be a great AC... the team would look great (in all their designer gear) and the media coverage would be out of this WORLD! If that's the case JT's seats just went up in value. Shudder. I have those seats to watch athletes play Volleyball

I can't stand the suspense! I just gotta know! IS IT ME? It was going to be until you flunked the English writing part of the interview. ;D

I don't know. I guess the latest is that "Is it I" is too pretentious.
How's a person supposed to write if they keep changing these things?

Is it just me, or does this job seem to be taking a very long time to fill?

It's been 6 weeks. How long is "very long"?

It's been 6 weeks. How long is "very long"? I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking. Maybe I'm used to a lot of football and basketball jobs being filled within days or weeks after an opening.

In the era of immediate gratification, 6 weeks is an eternity.

Brady Starky has also been contacted and it is his dream job.

I don't know Brady real well, but is he ready for that big of push?
Also, I can't recall a coaching vacancy to stir this amount of hype in recent years. I wonder how crazy things will be once Russ hangs up the boots...

5 years ago Russ hanging up the boots would have been a no brainer - Mike Schall would have been the obvious candidate. Today - is Dennis the successor? He's been around the men's game for quite a while as HC/AC and now the women's AC during this great run of championships.

We can now confirm that there will be no announcement by the end of this week.
Unless I missed it.
