Check out Blake Griffin's 2011 NBA Dunk Contest winning dunk. How's that approach footwork. Damn near perfect. He should play volleyball.
;D

Yeah. He was a 4 time All-America in high school with something ridiculous like 40 kpg in each of his four seasons. Unfortunately no major college volleyball program took him seriously or even recruited him because he was from Oklahoma, so he chose to pursue a career in basketball (his second love) instead of trying out for a walk on position for Al Scates at UCLA.

That's an amazing video! Wow!
After watching that, does anyone get a sudden craving to drink a nice cold Sprite soda?
Yeah, me neither.

I don't know if the average person could even jump on the hood let alone clear the whole front end...simply amazing!
O&U, I actually felt it necessary to add some rum to my coke!

Blake Griffin played volleyball in high school? I had no idea. I thought the guy who dunked 3 balls should have won, but the whole car thing was pretty fun.

Jumping a car in a dunk contest is really not that novel or new. (Chandler Thompson reference)

There was this guy named Vince Carter who was mr. volleyball of the State of Florida when he was in high school. As fun as it would be for us to watch them on the volleyball court I feel I speak for everyone that they made the right decision.

So, I told my son Blake Griffin and Vince Carter were volleyball players in high school. He said, "Where did you hear that?" I said, "On Volley Talk, so it must be true " He doesn't believe it. Are you guys kidding? If so, please use the winky smily face so I know when you're kidding. Thank you. I can't find anything in writing that either of them played volleyball. Granted, I'm not the best at searching the Internet.

Blake Griffin - joking Vince Carter - serious. did play volleyball Chase Budinger - serious. would have been the #1 boys vball recruit in his year had he not been so good in bball either. Went to Arizona, declared early for NBA. Now playing for big bucks.
