wait... there are people who don't know tetris?! crap, I'm getting old. Don't worry, I'm one of the youngest people on here and I know Tetris. Although I've started feeling old since I heard Pearl Jam on a classic rock radio station the other day.

Tetris is a classic! I'm pretty sure I'm one of the youngest, too, and I know what it is. The classics aren't dead yet!

a few months ago they came out with Tetris for PlayStation 3 (you can buy in in the online store). it is like reliving my childhood all over again.

Am I the only one here who is too old to be all that familiar with Tetris? Oh sure, I know what it is, but never really played it - just like I've never played Madden football.
Now if you had said Dig Dug, that would have been a different story. I liked Dig Dug, with the Pooka and the Fygar. And Donkey Kong (the original, not that Mario Bros crap) was cool. Space Invaders, Asteroids. I was never very good at Asteroids, but that was because I always like to play "runaway battlestar" where you just hit the throttle and fire.
I remember in Space Invaders when the little ship would run across the top, we called him the "Ayatollah." That was current events at the time.
Then again, I remember when the neighbor got Pong.

Tetris was the hot video game when it came out right at the end of my college career. You could walk by any Athena Cluster at MIT and you would see several people playing it. (The previous hot video game was rogue (or hack, or any number of other derivatives).

Old enough for Asteroids, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong AND Pong. I spent lots of quarters on Space Invaders. Not familiar with Dig Dug.
