As expected, Irvine moves up to #1.
This week's match between Hawaii and Irvine will be most interesting!

This is a joke! BYU shouldn't be up that high. UCSB has no business being on the poll

I'm pretty sure that they aren't going to televise the match in Hawai`i because they usually don't televise road games here, only if it is playoff time.
Getting back to the rankings, I'm surprised that UH only dropped to number two. I thought they would have at least dropped to three or four. And Stanford only moved up one spot? That kinda surprised me.
Well this weeks matches should be good ones between Hawai`i and Irvine. To bad we won't be able to catch the matches here in Hawai`i.
GO WARRIORS!!!

According to UH homepage: uhathletics.hawaii.edu/Sport/sport.html?p=11HONOLULU - The Warrior Volleyball team has learned that the location and start times for its upcoming series at UC Irvine have been changed. Hawai`i's match on Friday, Jan. 31 has been moved from Crawford Hall to the Bren Events Center to accomodate for a larger crowd and a television broadcast.Only, it does not say which channel/station. As for radio, I think it should be on 1420AM or Hawaii Sports Network www.hawaiisportsnetwork.com/rainbowsports.cfm

They will broadcast it for Irvine, but not for Hawaii.

I'm not surprised UH only dropped to #2, as I wouldn't have been all that surprised if they stayed #1. We have seen this countless times, especially with UCLA, where they drop an early match in the MPSF and only drop one place. I think a lot of it is due to the coaches not wanting to screw with preseason expectations, and allow for #1 vs #2 (at least in their mind) matchups. Its kind of a given that whoever wins the MPSF will have a couple losses. If any of the top 2/3 of the conference gets hot on a given night, they will win.
