Congratulations beating the Waves! I thought Pacific was a very good team. I was very impressed when I saw them play against UH last week. Although they were not so tall, their middle was great and their dig was good. (I thought their positioning was perfect and was able to dig difficult shots) Way to go Tigers! Good luck in the rest of your games. (Keep UCLA out from MPSF playoff for the first time? )

It seems that Pep fell into the Pacific... Congrats to the Tigers. If anyone is wondering if Pepperdine had an off night, the answer is NO. Check out the stats and Pep had good match numbers, BUT Pacific played their game of the season. Out blocked Pep...quickset kills over the middle... That is quite an achievement. I wish I was there, because it sounded like a close match even though it was in 3 games. Hmmmmmmmm will the Tigers eat raw meat for the rest of the season?

yes! i predicted that! props to me! i hope i finally win!
i just checked, and vballah and i were the only ones to predict that one, but it was more of a blowout than either of us thought (i picked the tigers to win in 4, vballah picked to win in 5).
i've got my fingers crossed that long beach, pacific, stanford and pepperdine pull off wins this week, which would give me my first perfect score! PLEASE!
and yes, my terrapins lost today. *sniff* it's amazing how loud this campus gets when we lose. i think it's louder than when we win!

Congrats to the Tigers and their fans. UOP is definitely a quality team, and will make some nosie in the MPSF tournament. They couldn't beat Hawai'i last week, but then again, who can ? . Not to take anything away from UOP's victory, because a three game sweep of Pepperdine is very impressive, but this loss by the Waves is a bump in the road for them, they will be the top seed in the tournament, and roll untill they hit the wall that is the University of Hawai'i . Solid win for the Tigers!

Hey everyone: We were at the match and sorry Crusin Pepperdine didn't have a stellar game. !st time this season they were outblocked by any team . The X - factor for the Tigers on Friday night was the setting of Tamas ( the best setter out there right now ) . He sets the ball so high that the middles get up over the block on almost every swing and it was flawless on Friday night . They also played better defense than I have seen by any team all year long. So, the final synopsis is they played great , Pepperdine played not so great. But you can't take this game away from the Tigers ,because they definately had IT on Friday night.
