Okay here goes....just to end the suspense right away...I am still going with the Beach. VBCruz has not offered any concrete money yet but I do have a price for not picking the 49ers.
CSUN over LaVerne 3-0 UH over UCSB 3-0 UH over UCSB 3-1 CSULB over UOP 3-2 UOP over UCSD 3-0 CSULB over Stanford 3-2 Stanford over UCSD 3-0 Pepp over UCI 3-1 UCI over USC 3-1 UCLA over USC 3-2 Pepp over UCLA 3-0
On another thread there was discussion of the good-looking vs. dorky players....you all need to trust sweetievbfan on this. She seems to have all the inside scoop on all the hot guys from Hawaii to the Midwest.

Back to the TVP:
Northridge wil show LaVerne how to play the game in 3 straight, 30-19 average win.
UCLA wants to be in the play-offs, beat USC in 4.
Pepperdine solidifies their claim to be the number one team in the MPSF with a 3-0 win over Irvine.
LBSU barely beat Pacific in 5 close games, 19-17 in the 5th stanza.
Pacific uses its second stringers to beat UCSD in 4.
UCSB too a game off Hawaii but still lost, 1-3.
Long Beach wants to prove it belongs to the elite 8 of the MPSF by beating a Toppel-led Stanford in 4.
UCLA got its worst loss of its volleyball rally scoring history when it lost to Pepperdine 30-15, 30-19 and 30-25.
UC-Irvine avenged its loss to the Waves by pounding on the poor Trojans, 3-0.
Hawaii does not want UCSB to gain confidence from last night's winning of one game, did not sub the starters and won 3-0.
Stanford went to its bench but still swept the lowly Tritons 3-0.

Cruisin Sorry I haven't posted much lately, but life is sometimes too busy for message boards and such. Besides, It's not like we at war or anything like that to keep ones thoughts occupied! Here are my picks. LaVerne @ Nothridge...CSUN 3-0 UC-Santa Barbara @ Hawaii (2 matches)...UH Sweeps 3-0. 3-0 Pacific @ Long Beach...LBSU 3-1 Pacific @ UC-San Diego...UOP 3-0 Stanford @ Long Beach...Stanford 3-2 Stanford @ UC-San Diego...Stanford 3-0 UC-Irvine @ Pepperdine...Pepp 3-0 UC-Irvine @ USC...UCI 3-2 UCLA @ USC...UCLA 3-2 UCLA @ Pepperdine...Pepp 3-0 I wish I had time to get the "East of Provo" up for you, but I am a bit too busy. I will give you this upset pick though...Loyola will win tonight vs. Lewis. I have a feeling the Ramblers will get a little extra motivation from an outside source that helps them pull out the win tonight. Later Roofan

Hey roofan... I was wondering where you were...a war to keep your thoughts occupied? What do you think this contest is for...FUN? Sure, it is for fun with everyone else, BUT it's war between you, mvbdad and me. Since we're neck-in-neck in the T.V.P. quest, your reputation is on the line as well as my own. We'll see who reaches the season-ending, top of the mountain. Also, there are the year-long bragging rights associated with this dubious honor. It doesn't matter who else wins the T.V.P., I just want to be at least 1 match ahead of roofan (Squirrel Boy) and mvbdad...especially mvbdad, since I know him personally. ;D Always glad to hear from you...Incidentally, the three of us have a lot of competition with the many fans out there. Watch out for vballah, vballmom, Beachy, and SweetieVBfan, who are right there with us. Newcomers who are leading are ichiscratchy, Hwn Stunner 01, tito 99 and rayson. Much like the MPSF season, this is going to be a close T.V.P. ending. Good luck to all.
