Fenerbahce Universal won 3-1 and finished first in Pool B. They advance to the next round. Anyone know what that long wrap on Tom's right arm was for? Injury? (Unverified) I heard Tom has a bruised arm and she can't play with it bleeding (even just a little), hence the bandage. In one of the timeouts, you can see a turkish teammate checking on her arm. Thank you, MarsH. I was wondering what it could be. Fenerbahce has been playing with Kim YK and Logan Tom at outside hitter a lot starting this January. I would hate for players to get sidelined by injuries.

Thank you, MarsH. I was wondering what it could be. Fenerbahce has been playing with Kim YK and Logan Tom at outside hitter a lot starting this January. I would hate for players to get sidelined by injuries. You're welcome. Yes, lately it's been Kim(OH2)-Logan(OH1) including the big win vs Turkish League rival Vakifbank. They play Eczasibasi this weekend. They can go with Kim-Liubov (Logan's arm may or may not be bothering her). Edit: Fenerbahce again goes with Logan-Kim combo vs Eczasibasi. Fenerbahce wins 14th straight in Turkish League. They've gotten the maximum 3 points in every match to lead the league with 42. Eczasibasi (12-2, 35 points) is at 2nd and Vakifbank (10-4, 30 points) is at 3rd.

I just feel like rambling about all the teams that I've been watching this season. CEV CL A. RC - this team is pretty damn good, has an American ever played on that team? MCVC - does anyone know why Berg didn't play in VC's last match? Sarah Pavan is as good as I would expect her to be 4-5 years out of college, I forgot how huge she is. IMO, Cannes is one of the top 5 teams in the Champions League. Cortese wanted to rest their players. Teams playing in Champions League have a lot of matches this season. Two of the best teams in Champions League. They beat each other at home and ultimately Fenerbahce finished first in the league pool. Unluckily, the draw puts them on a collision course in the Quarter Finals. Any other draw and both woud have been favorites to advance to the Final Four. It's a matchup that a lot of people think would have been deserving of a Final. Uralochka (Karpol's team) isn't in Champions League but looks very strong in the Russian league. Kazan looks weaker than last year. But an easy draw could help a long way to get them to the Final Four. Azerrail Baku lost a lot when Oksana Parkhomenko went down with a season-ending knee injury. But it's great that they have talented Thai setter Nootsara Tomkom as backup. They will likely meet Kazan in the Quarterfinals. I can't see Bergamo doing any damage in Champions League. Even if they had a chance to beat Pesaro, I can't see them winning a Quarterfinal match vs Cortese/Moscow. I expect Klineman will get a lot of scoring attempts since they don't have a lot of options. Ortolani is injured and the passing isn't always good enough to run the middle. Ferreti is struggling. It may have to do with the passers and the hitters she has. But the team needs to play better because a lot is expected by sponsors. Moscow has a great draw, meeting Cortese, then the winner of Bergamo/Pesaro. Drawing Italian teams is a lot easier than drawing turkish or azerbaijan teams and Moscow has a good chance to advance to the Final Four. Fabiola is injured. Between her and Hooker, Fabiola is the one that Osasco is missing badly. The drop off in setting is huge and has even resulted in Thaisa venting in twitter (IMO, never a good idea) as reported in Bruno's blog. Btw, fans of Hooker might want to stay away from that blog. Re: Volei Futuro Stacy's vision is reportedly improved and she is back playing. One of the best news I've heard from brazil.

Kim Willoughby scored 12, Lexi Zimmerman scored 2 as the starting setter for Valencianas. I read that Willoughby said in court that she had a contract in Russia. What happened to that? Fabiola is injured. Between her and Hooker, Fabiola is the one that Osasco is missing badly. Harmotto and Barboza had a nice match for Modena. www.legavolleyfemminile.it/TabellinoGara.asp?IdGara=57688Davis played for Piacenza but no Kristin Richards. I heard Kristin returned to the United States last weekend. I hope everything is ok and she can rejoin her team when possible. I read that Willoughby said in court that she had a contract in Russia. What happened to that? As far as I know, Krasnodar was looking for an OH and signed Neriman Ozsoy.

What happened to Richards? Will she rejoin the team anytime soon? Not injured. Time off is for personal/family reasons. No word on the return date yet.

It looks like the setting experiment for Ashley Engle has ended, at least on her Italian A2 team.
With the team's opposite and top scorer in the A2 league transferring up to A1, her team brought in a Greek setter and Ashley has been moved to Opposite. In her most recent match, she led all scorers with 24 points.

blogdobrunovoloch.blogosfera.uol.com.br/?s=osascoYet another player acting immature. Why do players think calling out their teammates on twitter/facebook is ok? How do they go to the gym the next day and expect things to improve after they blast their teammate online? Disappointing. Yeah, the site owner is definitely not a big fan. Only needed to read the title "Hooker... in record time" to know there would be some harsh words in that article. What happened to Richards? Will she rejoin the team anytime soon? Not injured. Time off is for personal/family reasons. No word on the return date yet. A Richards-less Piacenza just stunned Villa Cortese in the QF of the Italian Cup! This upset prevents Villa Cortese (league #2) from arriving in the Final Four. Semifinals Busto vs Modena Urbino vs Piacenza
