Unfortunately I think no. The have one volleyball player with upperlevel ability in Eric Honsberger and that is not even close to being enough to even win in the EIVA.
The setting has been a mess for years and Coach Byron needs to get back to recruiting athletes first.
Hopefully more coaches realize that your best athlete should be your setter and having a setter 6'4 and up is not necessary to win in the NCAA.

Agreed. Giant goons can't turn into setters most of the time.
Even Jon Winder at Pepperdine wouldn't be the force that he is without having good hands first. Sure a giant block is nice, but some coaches are enamored with height. It starts all the way down at the JO and HS level as well.

Attendance 55? Aww. That's terrible for any team; I don't care who they are. Maybe Schiano should remember how crappy football WAS there and help out a bit. If he brought half the team, that would double attendance. Then again, Tressel brought the whole of the OSU football team to the Wisconsin women's match last fall. For the two games they sat through, Wisky won. Once they left, it was all Buckeyes.

OhioStatetad I think the Rutgers men's team is from Rutgers Newark - "the undisputed arm pit of america" at one time and not where the football team and the other varsity sports are from. The are the "real" Rutgers campus which I think is New Brunswick?? is in a different place

indeed it is in New Brunswick, NJ and Rutgers is bad but i would think that it is proximity to NYC would make it much better than Stockton. I mean Stockton is close to Sacremento and not much else. But, Rutgers may not win again and that is not good for the EIVA or Men's Volleyball.
