www.usavolleyball.org/VolleyballNews/news.asp?id=1542A couple interesting tidbits in this edition. Suxho's injury is unfortunate. Will we finally see what Taliaferro can do at the international level? Is he healthy? Is he movtivated? Can he mesh with the current roster? I've always held that Taliaferro is the guy the USA Men need at the setting position. However, injuries in year's past and other priorities in his own life have precluded him from really taking a real run at the position. I wonder if this will finally be an opportunity where everything lines up and we see what he can really do at this level.

What ever happened to Delano Thomas? He was invited to train with the USA Men awhile back, he seems to have dropped completely off the radar. Too bad, he had tremendous physical ability.

Sean Rooney is returning to the national team as well. I was beginning to think he might not be interested at the chance to represent in Bejing. Sean can really help the outside and passing issues that we currently have.

OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! WHY IS BALL COMING BACK? I don't care what you say, the U.S. Team has accomplished N O T H I N G at the Olympics with Ball running the show. I don't care what success he has had in Europe, when it comes to our National Team Ball hasn't ever been able to lead us to anything. At the last Olympics we were loosing a match to someone that we had no business loosing to ( I think Greece) but not sure. As soon as Suxho was put in, we came back and WON the match. Ball just isn't' the guy for the U.S. I think we have won maybe like 4 matches in 3 OLYMPICS WITH BALL RUNNING THE SHOW. Why don't they just let Brandon have his opportunity to run the show. He can't do any worse than Ball, and I think he will do MUCH BETTER!

Oh snappp Rooney is finally decided to play with the national team. This is great news because he is a baller. With him at the outside, who knows how far the national team could go.
