VERSUS THE BRUINS: UCLA holds a 35-7 advantage in the series records, but the Anteaters have won the last four outings. UCI has swept the Bruins twice this season, once in the championship match of the UCSB/Elephant Bar Tournament and most recently at the Bren Center. At the Bren, Matt Webber led the Anteaters with 16 kills, eight digs and three blocks. Middle blocker David Smith added eight kills, while hitting .636 (8-1-11). Are there any big implications in this match? UCI in worst-case scenario would finish 3 because there is a disparity in records b/w the 3 and 4 spots. Also, from my standpoint it seems UCLA will end up playing UCSB-- it's just a matter of whether it's going to be in Westwood or Malibu.
Any insight from anyone?

UCLA vs UCSB would be either in Westwood or Santa Barbara in the first round. I dont know that either one can pass UCI/BYU. Malibu would be hosting the semifinals.
