It's Rush week at Stanford! I was informed some of the Cardinal vb players are frat boys but I didn't see any of them at the info meeting. Also I noticed white boys hanging out with the all Black or all Asian fraternities. What's up with that?

Okay, well, let me tell you a little story. When I was in college, I joined the staff of an underground political humor/lampoon newspaper/periodical. Why? Well, it certainly wasn't because I was interested in politics or parodies or lampoons or scathing commentary on the administrators of my college. Then why? I discovered through word of mouth that a lot of hot chicks were on the staff. They were not only hot but just so cool and hip and so radical. I joined to meet these chicks. It's part of the college experience. Heheh...
So that should give you ONE insight into why some white boys hung around the all Asian and all Black frats. Maybe they wanted to join or somehow be associated with them to meet hot Asian chicks or hot Black chicks in their respective sororities?
Sometimes, motivations are very simple.
Just one warped view...

World War II is over, and in order to create equal opportunity alcoholism, colleges are implementing a Greek integration program. At least that is what I hear.

I hear the Delta Iota Kappas are all purple. someone has been watching van wilder too many times. as far as racial fraternities/sororites are concerned, there really hasn't been an effort to wipe them out. Lambda Upsilon Lambda (LUL - la unidad latina) is the latino frat. there's also Alpha Epsilon Pi, the Jewish frat. and i'm positive there is a whole lot of asian and black frat/sororities. but they all drink the same anyway. |
